PureSteel® metal belts are typically made of stainless steel, which ensures longevity and durability under any conditions. When the specific demands of a system require antistatic technology or greater resistance to chemicals, temperatures and corrosion, Belt Technologies offers an array of alloys for engineers to choose from.
Durability
Belts made from polyester, nylon or cotton with rubber or plastic covers are susceptible to long-term wear and tear, and are not appropriate for demanding environments like extreme temperature, vacuum conditions or caustic chemical exposure. PureSteel® metal belts provide unmatched durability in all conditions.
Cleanliness
PureSteel® metal belts do not generate component friction requiring lubrication, nor do they produce particulates or outgassing. They can be sterilized in an autoclave, making them an ideal solution for environments in which cleanliness is paramount.
