Materials Coordinator

Description:

The Materials Coordinator oversees the production control activities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, producing customized stainless steel conveyor belts. Responsible for producing and releasing job process plans to the shop floor, identifying material requirements and all aspects of the purchasing function for those materials, and monitoring WIP and Finished Goods inventory levels. This position works closely with the Manufacturing Manager to schedule jobs based on sales orders and available capacity.

Requirements:

  • Minimum three years of experience as a production controller or materials coordinator
  • Experience with the production and MRP functions of an ERP system
  • Ability to understand and interpret engineering drawings to develop process workflow
  • Technical experience in the machining trade is preferred

Details:

  • First shift position, 7 am–3:30 pm
  • Starting salary commensurate with experience

Production Welder

Description:

The Production Welder is responsible for setting up, operating and maintaining a production laser welding machine.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of three years of experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to understand and interpret engineering drawings
  • Ability to read and understand standard measuring tools, micrometers, calipers and tape measure
  • High degree of hand dexterity for parts fixturing
  • Corrected vision to 20/20 required for part set-up and weld inspection
  • Experience with setting up and operating a YAG laser is preferred

Details:

  • Second shift position, 3 pm–11:30 pm
  • Hourly wage compensation, commensurate with experience
