Production Welder
Description:
The Production Welder is responsible for setting up, operating and maintaining a production laser welding machine.
Requirements:
- Minimum of three years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to understand and interpret engineering drawings
- Ability to read and understand standard measuring tools, micrometers, calipers and tape measure
- High degree of hand dexterity for parts fixturing
- Corrected vision to 20/20 required for part set-up and weld inspection
- Experience with setting up and operating a YAG laser is preferred
Details:
- Second shift position, 3 pm–11:30 pm
- Hourly wage compensation, commensurate with experience

Metal Belt Processor
Description:
Perform repetitive and routine tasks in the preparation and set-up of metal belts to be welded.
Duties include proper cutting of belt strip to length per B/P finish welds and sand the edges of all welded bands. This will include the operations of flattening, edge sanding and buffing of surfaces. May be required to perform simple weld tasks.
Set up the production bands on welding fixtures and align for welding. Work requires that all bands be inspected for surface features. Polish, deburr and checking of belt preparations or impressions.
Requires the use of appropriate jigs and fixtures, cutting, polishing, deburring, sanding and dimensional equipment. Work from detailed specifications and drawings.
Packaging of finished belts for shipping per approved standards.
Maintain logs or records as required. Report faulty equipment and improper operations and unusual conditions to the appropriate level of supervision. Follow prescribed standards for safety and housekeeping.
Perform a variety of other duties as required or directed.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
